Laura’s Studio is amazing! Her organization and storage are incredible! How wonderful it must be to work in this space. Thank you Laura, for sharing your studio, your home, and your town with us. You are an inspiration! And thank you to your husband, as well, for being so supportive.

You’re so welcome…and yes, my husband is awesome. If I hadn’t met him I’m certain I would still be working in the lab never having time to make anything and always wondering what I’m actually capable of!

WOW!!!!! I got sooooo many ideas. I can see that I need smaller plastic boxes. And the shoe organizer……GENIUS💫 Oh. Thanks so very much to Laura for inviting us in to tour her studio. It’s so organized and it lets you enjoy the beauty in all the colors and textures we use in felting. And, let’s face it, we’re all “fiberholics” here. We love to look at it, feel it, revel in the colors and textures. It’s a very inspiring space.

I definitely do appreciate it. I grew up with very little and moved from rental home to rental home every year as a child, even staying with family at times. 7 people in a 2 bedroom home was a lot! After sharing a room with two sisters or sleeping on bunk beds in what was supposed to be a porch I will never take for granted how wonderful it is to have a space of my own like this!

What a treat to see Laura's studio! And wow, what a gorgeous place to live! My favorite takeaway that I'm definitely going to adopt is the tip about using the plastic boxes with adjustable dividers for small amounts of each color family of wool. That will be so much easier and cleaner to work with while felting, rather than having huge balls of wool all over my dining room table!

There are so many great tips for creating a home studio. It's been a challenge for me keeping my space clutter free so I actually have somewhere to work! I can't wait to watch this again, as I slowly start making some changes! Thanks Laura and Living Felt!

Thank you Marie & Living Felt for bringing us on this tour and thank you Laura for allowing us into your home & studio - such fun! I'm hoping one day to be as organised with all my wool supplies and to have all the variety that Laura has - slowly but surely I'll work my way up. I think I'm going to try to figure out a way to keep samples on the front of my drawers like Laura has with her contact lens cases - keeps things looking tidy and easy to find at a glance!

WOW! Was that inspiring! I'm terrible at organizing and it just cuts into my felting time when I misplace things. Such great ideas for storage and a beautiful way to display it all. Thanks so much Laura, and Living Felt for this incredible opportunity! Now I need to get moving on Laura's class!

Right now everything is in a big box which is growing as I gather more items. Really enjoyed this visit with Laura and certainly was glad to see all the amazing ways to organize what I currently have and hope to acquire in the future. Looking forward to any upcoming studio visits. Really like her indoor slide and hoop display.

This was such a treat! I love the practical tips of storage ideas (the contact cases was so inventive). I do know what you mean about bags of fiber cluttering up your space, so I liked the idea of a project box. We are a Boilermaker family, so it was also fun to see the area.🖤💛. Congratulations on your success and thank you for letting us see your special space!

Good idea to storage scrap fibers yarn in a divider box. I storage my scrap in a jar. It's certainly more beautiful to look at than a box but the negative point is that fibers are mixed and use is more complicated.

Maybe just keep your eyes open for a bit and look at things you use every day as options. Maybe something will jump out at you. Or check with an optometrist. They must throw tons away daily!
