The Langenbach flows like a lifeline from the highlands of the Nature Park into the Ebelsbachtal.Three smaller streams and a spring flow on its way through blooming forest meadows, species-rich wetlands and mixed forests into the natural stream and thus bring the important nutrients down into the Maintal. An important Habitat for many native plants such as the wild watercress, black stork and amphibians such as the fire salamander. Later in the evening bats chase the abundant food supply of insects through the night sky. What a wonderful place. The noise pollution in these sensitive areas is increasing more and more and has an impact on living conditions. We have to watch this carefully.Despite all of this, you can still find those magical sounds of nature. I hope we can protect them for the future
