Cooking equipment 20 Special Forces B /S M8210-114010 existed in 1990.
Field kitchen for 20 special forces soldiers, Model B, is better equipped than the standard cooking equipment for 20 hunters. It includes, among other things, more equipment for food preparation and cooking, a new kerosene stove, and is fitted with a leg stand. Optimus 55/155, a two-burner stainless steel marine kerosene stove. Optimus 155 is primarily designed for the marine market. Since propane is heavier than air, it is not desirable on a boat where a gas leak could become a death trap. Alcohol, due to its low flash point, is also somewhat dangerous, whereas kerosene, as usual, is the optimal fuel. The stove is made of stainless steel and comes with a jointed suspension device that keeps it horizontal despite the motion of the sea. There are also pot holders to prevent pots from sliding off the stove.
The stove is equipped with the quiet burner 207B, which includes a built-in cleaning needle and is found in many Optimus products from the late 1930s onwards. This stove is also equipped with a rapid igniter, which makes preheating with alcohol unnecessary. This simplifies handling since only one fuel is needed, and using the rapid igniter reduces the preheating time to 1-1½ minutes. However, the stove can still be heated with alcohol as usual if preferred. The stove was also manufactured in a less expensive model without the rapid igniter, and a smaller model with just one burner. A very robust and substantial stove of high quality!
