I had this but it could have handle the weight of the SM7B. I also strippied the the part where you tighten the arm. I wish it was a knob to tighten the arm.

That is the biggest flaw, in my opinion. That part where you adjust the tension is the weak link for the people with heavy mics. They should have made it out of metal. 👍🏻

How is the Rode video mic go 2 connected to Hollylark? trs to trs? or using the usb to trs? Somehow my Rode video mic go 2 trs to trs connected dji mic 2. Does pick up a lot of noise compared to usb c directly connected to pocket 3. ALso noticed the quality is better in usb. i really would like the Dji mic 2 connection to work well.

I use a Rode TRS to TRS cable. I have noticed I get very different results with other cables I have.

@@levelupwithmikenewman Thanks, I have been using the usb c since it sounded better quality compared to rode trs to trs. But maybe I should try reducing the gain and compare when connected to dji mic 2.

great video! do you think this would this be able to handle a rode podmic (2.6lb)
@levelupwithmikenewman

It can, but just be careful not to strip out the tension screw. I would not use it for heavy mics if you switch mics a lot. If you plan to stick with the Podmic for a while, you will be fine 👍🏻

Parabéns pelo vídeo! 13:00 Observação: aquela função para ajustes em mesas encostadas na parede ele tem sim, você precisa puxar para baixo e rodar de volta…
