You can only comment on what you see on front of you. This only proves that he was not a star for 20 years. He like every other fighter needed development to turn into what he became.

Old Larry was game!!! He looks like he would have made for an incredible sparring partner and you can tell he had a lot of pride as a fighter. I wouldn't be surprised if uncle Roger and Floyd's team didht bring him in for a few camps

Refs made no discouraging remarks about showboating until mayweather stuck his tongue out the first time in round 4, I think. In round 6 they really trashed mayweather’s showboating when he stuck his tongue out at close range of his competitor. Yea, it was a bit disrespectful, but if it gets your opponent frustrated then so be it. They definitely weren’t hating on him in my opinion.
