A round of applause for the guy in the green shorts who always resurrects to die in the next scene. That neck breaking scene was a genius thing I look forward to seeing you guys in some big movie or series. Cinema needs professionals who know how to make a fight scene less juggling and more realistic tension.

I LOVE these vids. I've got a quick question btw! Is it harder to simulate the punches/kicks or the falls without taking serious damage?
@TylerWilliamsEOS
2 жыл бұрын
Punches and kicks can simply be faked with camera angles and performance. Sometimes contact is required but it is done with control. That takes training and practice. Falls can be done into a mat but if the director wants to show you going all the way to the ground with no mat then it can be very dangerous if you don’t have good technique. You can wear body pads under clothing but even with that and good technique you’re still hitting the ground repeatedly and there’s a good chance you’re going to be bruised and/or sore afterwards. Serious damage is never in the cards. If the shot can’t be achieved without injury then it should be changed.

The fight choreography was so good, but what I like the most here was the camera movement. It is something straight out of The Raid movie, the movement was 90% the same and I love it. But in my opinion, to make the choreography more realistic, I suggest that the character that got beat up try not to wait to get beat, like in this part on 0:42. He did wait for a tiny bit before continuing to get beat without any resistance to it, which I think it was kinda unrealistic and it’s a common mistake in almost every Western movie fight scenes. But overall, I can see this choreography was heavily influenced by The Raid at some point, which makes it better than any fight choreography in Hollywood. Love it! 🔥
