Hello. What stage of Pancreatic cancer are you? Are you doing chemo or any medical treatments? When was your last CT Scan done? How is your bloodwork, your CA 19-9 tumor marker and your other bloodwork?

@@peacefuljourney405 Hello sweet lady, I am keeping you in my prayers. Your CA 19-9 is very low, that's great. My Dad's was 5000 when he was first diagnosed and after a few months of IV chemo, the lowest he got down to was 900 but we were so thrilled to see it decreasing. He was 79 with a lot of heart issues so he could only do the chemo for a few months before the side effects were too much for his heart. He was a long haul trucker when I was growing up, have always had the most respect for truckers (like yourself), they keep the world running, it's a tough job and truckers don't get the respect they deserve. It's so cool that you're a trucker, too, not many women can do that job, much respect. If you can, ask for a referral to a Dietitian through your cancer clinic. Very important when dealing with cancer, to get enough protein in your diet (like 80 grams a day) because the cancer depletes a lot of the nutrition you consume and can cause weight loss and loss of muscle mass/protein, so getting as much good protein in your diet is critical.

@@peacefuljourney405 Also, because the Pancreas is the organ that helps with digestion of food, it releases special enzymes that help digest food and when it has cancer, those enzymes are less so one can feel nauseated or bloated and very gassy, can have diarrhea after eating....make sure to ask your Oncologist about a prescription for Pancreatic Enzyme capsules. They're just capsules you take with all meals and snacks to help digest your food. The common one is called "Creon." They make a HUGE difference for people with Pancreatic cancer.
