this really is a excellent trigger, much easier to make than the traditional figure 4 and much easier to set, surprising that not many people use it.

Me like, You could, with a bit more effort, close the trap completely, leaving just an entrance at the lower slant portion. The rat would not be able to misfire the trap from messing with the trigger, as they are nosy little beasts. The strongest pinch or kill portion is in the rear lower portion of these type traps. Very nice...
