Holy cow! what a brilliant arrangement and composition of this classic! each of three moments "in my life" includes an over-dub of the previous showing this song reflects three portions of a single life; "morning", "noontime" and "evening". Each with the singer either proposing or reflecting: "to fill the world"/"did I fill the world" with love my whole life through. I've never heard a better cover of anything... not because it redid the song differently but because it found a way to make the original composer's intend more obvious with out losing the original. I'm blown away. ❤

I watch the movie, Mr Chips, so many decades ago, but I have never forgotten the lyrics. I was in the sunrise of my life. Now I am getting closer to the evening of my life, still this song enspires me just the same was it did when I first heard it. Peace and love to the world🇿🇦

I sang this in our school choir in primary school in 1983 ... what dreams i had then ... not knowing all the horrible stuff life had in store for me ... but today I look back and say "Thank you Lord, it made me stronger."

We sang this hymn at my wedding almost 42 years ago. We were young and in love and the last thing on our minds was the evening of our lives. Sadly that came around all too quickly as my husband passed away just over 2 years ago. This is a beautiful rendition of a hymn which is very special and nostalgic for me.

I have heard this song from when I was a kid, I can't remember when and where but the lyrics got stuck. I am nearing the evening of my life and as I look back, I can't help but go through a lot of emotions. In my quiet times and during some of my darker days, I sing this song out of the blue, the lyrics may not be the correct ones but the meaning it has imbibed gets me through those trying moments and I feel all good again. Sometimes, I just think of all the setbacks as blessings. Something I need to go through in order to appreciate the things and situations or events that will eventually come. I am moved beyond words by this rendition, and here I am ever thankful that this song has saved me on so many occasions and I know that God has brought me to this point in my life so I can thank Him for all those lessons I may not have known if I have never been grateful.

Wow this song spirals me back so many years. I just happened to be thinking of it as we go through these trying times. I always want to fill the world with love my whole life through. I also learned and sang this in music class when I was in middle school so many moons ago. I was also in the sunrise of my life. Still a beautiful song and appropriate for the times. Thank you for your rendition. It is truly beautiful and inspiring. Love one another as God loves us.

WOW! This is the first and only version of this song that is in the same league as the original soundtrack version. I first heard this song as I watched Goodbye Mr. Chips on the big screen back in 1969 and this has remained one of my most favorite songs of all time. I usually cringe at most attempts to perform it, but you have, with out a doubt, knocked it out of the park with your rendition. Thank you so much!!

When I downloaded this song from iTunes, I honestly thought it was a white woman singing, had no idea she was a person of colour. Was even more gobsmacked to discover she has Zimbabwean origins, lol I grew up there. Love her beautiful voice, and I’m getting Vanessa Williams vibes on some of her other tracks

Sang this during assembly at Whitestone School in Bulawayo in the 1990s... googled the lyrics and found myself here at your beautiful rendition! The lyrics are poignant... especially with everything that’s going on in the world where as individuals we feel helpless to change anything. This reminds us that there a tiny bit we can do. We can fill the world with love! 💜
