The issue is he’s not using his star players that in the last 3 drafts, the falcons have taken offensive players within the top 8. 2021 : Kyle Pitts - pick 4 2022 : Drake London - pick 8 2023 : Bijan Robinson - pick 8 It just makes no sense that backups get the ball more than the starters this season. Bijan has 1 carry this season within the 5 yard line… 1

I get the impression that Arthur Smith wants to prove how smart he is by doing the exact opposite of what everyone says he should do.

we have a bruising style rb who rushed for 1k last year as a 5 round pick. he’s also a stud and he’s heavier and stronger than bijan, he consistently runs grown men over. that being said the balance between strength and agility is delicate and bijan needs more touches in the redone. i agree with the 50/50 split in the REDZONE tho like allgeier is our bruiser. bijan needs 15+ overall snaps every game tho no question

Everyone ragged Tannehill in Tennessee and said Henry carried him or Art made the offense bla bla but it was never true. Arts offense was bottom 3 and Henry was on the trade block when Tannehill took over and saved both of their careers and made both a house hold name. Because Tannehill was super super efficient on the 3rd and 7’s and converted them regularly at will. Art doesn’t have that now.

❤thank you for the falcons content buddy. I love all your videos and your analysis. Arthur Smith has to tighten up we have no reason not to win our division this year. If Ridder doesn’t improve we will need a new coach and QB.

My thoughts are you gotta utilize Bijan to set up the pass. You got a gifted back who can wreck havoc and change how defense plays him.

Falcons passing attack is middle of the pack outside of TDs. Allgeier has 116 carries for 371 yards Bijan has 103 carries for 517 yards That's all you need to know about Arthur Smith

Please stop the “Atlanta passed on Lamar” narrative. Baltimore was never going to let him leave for just 2 1sts. The falcons weren’t the only team to “not go after” Lamar. No team offered because any offer would’ve tied all the money up and not allowed teams to go after player in Free agency. If Lamar was truly available I guarantee they would’ve attempted like they did for Deshaun Watson. Narrative is so false and is seriously lacking context.

AND...the Ravens had the opportunity to match or beat any offer made by any team. Kind of like in college football overtime...let the other team ha e the ball first so you know what you have to do. The ravens were allowing other teams to set the price for Lamar to see if they wanted to match it. The only way he would have been relased is if some team offered a contract bigger than Watson's, and the ravens decided not to match it...which was not going to happen.

Most of what your highlighting seems to fall on player execution. Pitts just doing his job and the play would have worked. The Lions ran the ball the most on "passing situations". Their players executed their blocks..and they had success. Steelers have a closer personnel fit to the Titans than the Falcons. Especially, if the Steelers hit on an OT/OC in the draft.

That first play lets me know Pittsburgh will be Arthur Smith's last OC coaching job. My question is why does ARthur Smith have it drawn up for Kyle pitts to kick out the DB and the receiver blocking down on the EDge. That receiver has no chance to block that edge. They should have had Kyle block the edge and the receiver kicking the db out or turning him in. I played defense in college and I may not be an OC but that is what makes sense but you put a guy being outweighed by 50 pounds blocking a dude that probably bench pressing 3 to 4 times what that WR weighs. That is insane. I hope Tomlin knows what he is getting in ARthur Smith. That dude is too pompous to learn from his mistakes.

The Arthur Smith Problem or The Not Drafting A Quarterback Problem.
@KungFuCooley

Author smith chose Ridder and then doubled down on “he’s the guy” so it was 100% author smith fault because he chose this QB and he chose not to feed top players. It’s that simple. His scheme isn’t bad, it’s just he don’t use the best players and his QB sucked as a game manager.

The inherit issue is Ryan Tannehill made Art’s offense work. I kniw go ahead and laugh and downvote. But I said it for 2 years. When Mariota was Qb1 Arthur Smith was on the hot seat his offense was bottom 3, he still had Henry. He was about to be fired. Tannehill took over and made his offense click and turned Henry into a house hold name, helped Art get a HC job and helped Aj Brown earn a huge contract. I said when Art got hired as a HC he wouldn’t make it through his first contract and I’m looking right. He needs a super super effective and efficient Qb1 that can throw in the must throw 3rd downs and who can lead his offense and make the correct pre snap adjustments. Art should have begged the Titans for Tannehill at the deadline and should beg Tannehill money to come start this off season.

Didn’t they attempt to sign and had secured the services of DeShaun Watson before the Browns jumped in front with that ridiculous Non guaranteed contract?

Besides the SB choke job against the Patriots, when have the Falcons ever actually been even good? How do you put that on the coach in just 3 seasons, without a top QB?

Smith got to go he can not DEVELOP A QB AND PLAY CALLS ARE HORRIBE..IF Smith never understood how to use Pitts, London, and Bijan... then ATL could have went defense! The last 3 draft would have netted Micah Parsons, Jordan Davis, and Jalen Carter vs catering to a supposedly offensive genius! 🔥FIRE SMITH🔥
