As irritated as I am about that there is some hilarity to be had. On D+ in Australia, the thumbnail for episode 4 is a still from episode 3 with Dee in her Asian costume yelling at Charlie in the park. All of the other thumbnails are correct, which suggests that it was done on purpose by someone not happy with the deletion.

I think a lot of their success and longevity comes from the fact that it can't cost much to make this show and unlike other series this show has never had more than 15 episodes in a season usually around 10ep, which again brings down cost per season, that paired with their enormous success makes the show quite the bang for their buck

I know James is more of a Dennis man, but, me, I am a Charlie aficionado, myself. When Charlie goes mental and spits out stuff Tourette's style it cracks me up hard. He often goes to the most unexpected, bizarre areas for which he provides no background on or for. Charlie is Loki (not the MCU version) who delights in chaos and sometimes cheese. Sweet Dee is my second favorite.

Cannibalism can lead to prion disease, but I don't know if it is very common. Kuru I think it is called and it requires the... meal to have had the prion disease. In general, it doesn't do anything but cause psychological stress and possibly food born illness if not cooked thoroughly. There is a tribe somewhere that was wiping itself out as eating a portion of the deceased was part of their custom. Unfortunately, the prion disease ran in the tribe so they are or were slowly dying off because they keep passing the infection even though they've been told what is happening

I think cannibalism itself is a crime. Though it's hard to tell because most of the time the cannibalism comes along with murder since you have to kill the person first. There are cases of people having to eat a dead companion to survive when lost in some place that were tried for it when they got back to civilization. Seems like Idaho is the only state in the US where cannibalism is explicitly illegal (apparently with exceptions for extreme circumstances, probably like if you're going to starve and the person you eat is already dead) but you can be charged with other things like desecrating a corpse, murder, manslaughter, etc. There's one case from Germany where a guy killed and ate a volunteer (he volunteered to be killed and eaten) and was still charged with murder. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Also this is one of my favorite episodes of the show I think.

6:35 You mean Kuru? That is a prion disease that can happen if you cannibalize. It is pretty rare however and only started to appear after generations of ritual cannibalization of the dead in one tribe. You are however at a higher risk of contracting any human disease that would be present in the meat. So cook it thoroughly and don't forget to wash your hands.
