So so sad to see Hayabusa like this. He truly was one of a kind. And had MANY years ahead of him in the ring.

Hayabusa - Japanese version of the combination of Sabu and Bret Hart Let's put it this way: Hayabusa had a similar hardcore in-ring ability and talent like Sabu's and he was the NEW FACE of FMW like Bret Hart as a new face of WWF/WWE after Hogan. Hayabusa was never the same after that horrible moonsault botch. Nevertheless, he still has my respect. RIP Hayabusa! Fly high like a phoenix!
Please someone add subtitles...this man is a true legend.

my japanese is limited and very rusty but at the 1:20 mark he says something to the effect of "The pain gives me strength" talking about himself then goes on to say to Kenta please be careful and this final match will be the final burning (once again super limited and rusty)

Yep, that's what a career-ending and life-changing injury does to you. What's sad is he was apparently able to walk with the help of a cane towards the end of his life, so he was making big strides by the time he passed.

Sad, yes. But the fact that he was able to walk after being paralyzed is absolutely incredible.
