Chapman lake knives are awesome. They are well made by a shop of only 2 guys. And they are some really cool dudes. There was a mix up where their system let me order a ready made knife that was already sold (Most of their knives are made at the time of order), most places would have told me too bad or choose another one from the ready made selection. No, they made me the same knife no questions asked and expedited it though they just got back from a knife show and had a massive list of orders. Their drop point folder is now one of my most carried and used folders in my little pocket knife circulation. I love the ergo's on the knife, the smooth deployment, and nice lockup. The way the handle is constructed puts the button lock far enough out the way that it is darn near impossible to accidentally close it. I HIGHLY recommend picking one of these up.

I had to pick one of these up. I love button locks and it’s made in the town I went to college in. They nailed the detent. I haven’t been able to fail mine. My nitpicks are the blade to handle length ratio looks a little off and I’d like the blade to be taller. A taller blade would allow more distance for the primary bevel and result in a blade thinner behind the edge. A taller blade would also look better imo. Overall a really cool knife though.

The T10 hardware is a straight up win for me right out the gate! Why why why can’t other manufacturers get away from the smaller, hard to work with type of hardware?! This knife is very attractive in appearance. If it feels as good in hand as it looks, that’s another win win. I’m not sure how I feel about the contact point where the steel meets the titanium. I know that titanium is a very solid material, but I’m still not understanding why it has the play, but you’re probably right about having a stop pin, and how it would help. Real steel knives have used roller bearings in the past. I have one. It works but its not anything amazing. They feel a little different and sound different. Thats about it. I wouldn't say its special or better. You'd get as good or better action with normal bearings that are commonly used.

@@tacticalcenter8658 I’ve tried rollers from cultrotech, man they are amazing. But not tapered still. Not sure how I feel about them tbh. Ball bearings have a stress point, rollers don’t roll side ways, I prefer bushings or MRBS lol.
