How do you guys feel about the vapor blasted finish?

Adam Paganelli I can see that the original dry blast that was used is changing dictating the final result and look of your frame. Looks like they blasted it pretty heavily with aluminum oxide prior to applying powder coating. The hydro blaster shined it a bit but it looks much different than the way the swing arm came out. Might want to explain that in one of your upcoming videos.

Dude you should have the top fork tube triple tree bolts loose before you torque down the centre steering stem bolt. Then tighten and torque the top fork tube bolts. Otherwise you put stress into the top triple tree clamp and the fork tubes. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your videos.

It won't be long until those neck bearings feel gritty too. You need to pack grease inside them either by hand or with a tool. Not trying to criticize you, just giving you a tip. I'd also recommended greasing the linkage bolts and other bolts. Makes them come apart a lot easier later on for maintenance. Great looking bike!

you should always tighten the steering stem nut before you tighten the upper fork leg pinch bolts. If you tighten the pinch bolts first the stem nut gets a false tight.

Your suspension is going to be nice for off road! My YZ250 is an 05', the first aluminum framed YZ but it has the forks that most riders don't like. I recently found a great deal on a set of SSS forks, got the springs for me and did the Race Tech gold valves!! Theses are amazing! I I revalved my shock with Race Tech and I put on a pivot works thrust bearing on it to take out the spring twist. This made a huge difference and you might want to take a look at one for your bike. Can't wait to see your YZ all back together! :)

@erichildreth7562

@@adampaganelli4891 I noticed it a lot! As we both know when a shock spring is compressed it twists and this takes that out and it is really smooth and plush! These are sealed with O rings and they provide quality grease with the bearing too. A friend of mine who I did the Race Tech gold valve put this on his YZ and he is really happy with it and he is a former pro Mxer too.
