I take it you are heading south for the winter....if you are in Mo. We normally don't have too rough of a winter but it does get cold here, 😔 unfortunately.

I’m a long term resident of Missouri. I have my house here as well. No plans to travel with the weather as I take care of my grandkids while their parents work. Although my house is 135 years old and drafty, therefore I may stay in the bus more then the house this winter. This will be the test year

Hi Tracy and neighbor. I'm also from Missouri. I saw you post about your van tour so had to come see. It looks cozy and homey and comfortable. Normally people say "I'd love to see it when it's all done" but we know from watching Matthew your home on wheels will never be done lol. I hope you keep posting updates about any changes you make. I subscribed so I don't miss any if you do. Enjoy the rest of your day🥰

Will an R/V campground allow these ? Eventually I believe I'll be reduced to an R/V of some sort. I've nothing against a homemade one but campgrounds seem to want "official" ones.

That’s a good question. I don’t believe a lot of paid or private camp grounds would allow the bus. Most have a 10 year old or newer policy. However, I do a lot of craft shows etc and have had no problems staying there in the bus. I also do a lot of free camping at local area lakes.

@@tracy7134 : Those 10 year rules are sporadically enforced. I never understood it anyway. Say you have a perfectly conditioned R/V, it's just older. They all look the same. It's going to be refused ? I think the occupants are sized up just as much as the R/V. as well.

@@kolbpilotI would tend to agree with you on that sadly
