BeardTube they aren’t raising the price. Amazon has many sellers. Most likey one seller had them for $20 and because of your review they sold all of them. Amazon now shows the next best price from other sellers etc. as more people buy the price goes up as everyone is buying out the inventory from the sellers that had them at a lower price leaving only the sellers that had them at a higher price.

BeardTube I absolutely love your videos even with the burping. With the straightening brush would it not damage your hair cuticles as I thought you need to apply coldness to close the cuticles back up to keep your beard soft. I bought this exact brush after watching this review and it's crazy how well it works. The one downside is that by straightening the hair it makes the hairs longer and the beard becomes thinner. If you have a thick one like Scuba's it won't matter, but it can be an issue for guys not as blessed genetically.

I've seen some suggestions that the smoking was from hair products; I had assumed the same. But, I just got this thing in the mail (ordered it just after seeing this) and was reading the booklet (cuz I'm a total nerd)... Page 6: "Attention: For the first time usage of the appliance, occasionally there may be a slight burning smell or very light smoke, which is caused by the slight residual oil on the MCH heater metal parts burning off when heated. It is normal and safe to use. It may only last for a few seconds."

Darrell Harwood it'll happen still beyond that though if you have at least beard oil in your beard. Dunno if mine smoked first time at all cuz of what you say, maybe, but it has smoked cuz of oil on subsequent uses. If beard is damp it'll steam, may hear popping

Has looked same length for 6 years except for the rare times I would actually use the brush and hair dryer method.(which is def not a good as this brush) But I think u should be using after a freshly cleaned beard without any oils. Says to use on dry hair too. I’ve only used twice so far and super impressed both times. It even keeps it tame the next day!!! Anyone on the fence. Jump on this or one like it. I’m lazy and just rarely did any other method to straighten. Since this is so quick, i feel like i will be using often! Oh and I use the lowest heat. Don’t think I need it any hotter.

Advice from a woman who’s played with hot tools her whole life here. The motion you’re brushing in is quite outwardly (that a word? Lol) as you are going down. When you tried that brush for the first time did you have anything in your beard like argan oil because I bought a Wild Willies brand brush and when I used it , it smoked a lot worse than here I am assuming because it was still damp and I was using some argan oil to protect from the heat and it burned off? I also had mine set at 410 degrees which I definately will turn down to 380 next time. But dang these things work way better than a hair dryer and comb.

I hear that straighteners damage your hair, since they get quite a bit hotter than blow dryers (which is also part of why they're so quick and effective). Any thoughts on that? I tried it once. Maybe I went overboard, but it dried it out basically permanently, so I had to wait, grow, and trim.

Question, I can straighten mine out first thing in the morning, but when I get to working outside it goes spastic... So does this help with holding straight during the elements...

You gotta try the Headcandy brush! They make one for beards... does pretty much the same thing, but it's smaller

I think I might try that tool on my natural hair. My hair texture on my head is similar to that of your beard.

I bought one of these and love it! But yeah, does it damage hair? The smoke makes me wonder. But they work fantastic!

I'd be really sceptical about the heat. It takes some time to grow out that beard, and I wonder what that high heat will do to the quality of hairs over time. I might be wrong though. And the temperature you mention, you might need to look up what happens to the oils or wax youre using if it might burn the beard even worse. I'd do it, if I'd do it after washed.

Question. Do you apply heat after the beard balm is applied or before? I currently use the blow drying technique...

I use the roller brush with a hairdryer method and I can get it pretty damn straight. Recently though I've been getting a little wave because when rolling the bottom it almost pushes up the hair and it curls. If I'm not careful it starts training to always do that. This brush is pretty fucking cool, I'm kind of tempted now.

My wife got a hair heated hair brush. So one time I was like, let me try this on my beard and worked. In some point we had fight about it 🤣😂.To me this is the best way to keep your beard in shape. The beard keeps it shape all day long.Buy a good shampoo and conditioner plus beard oil and you are good to go.

I was convinced to buy the brush, I’ll get it on the 15th because I wasn’t gonna pay for shipping. I will let you know what the Bearded Cupid(wedding officiant brand name) thinks of this brush. Thanks for the great videos.

Great video. So hard to tell which is going to be worth it, and which will go right in the trash. Thanks! 🤘
