Very well done, here in eastern Nebraska we have the same string grass and it is a pain. I will have to try the rig you suggested.

Great video, well done! Also, you mentioned curly pondweed, few videos do. What’s your experience fishing that weed? Dense stands don’t seem to hold fish, and even sparse areas seem to foul up even weedless rigs. Help!

I usually do pretty well in it up north it’s a very leafy plant usually that doesn’t hang up much
