My sister just had pastor, his wife, and 5 children over for Christmas at her house on Tuesday, Jan 30th!! She started taking down her trees on the 31st. I hate to see them come down. She is a Christmas "nut" and had at least 14 trees up inside the house: Victorian tree, snow tree, vintage tree, rustic tree, gingerbread/candy tree, meaning of Christmas tree, Nutcracker tree.......... Yep! some ppl just hate for it to be over and wait as long as they can to take it down. :D I am an enabler. I keep buying ornaments for her. LOL!! If you ever find a silver tree in good shape, sell it for big bucks, Taco!

Within a two block or so radius of our house, there are about 8 Christmas trees sitting on the curb that have been there for weeks. It seems like a lot of folks missed the city pick up and are just leaving them until the next large item junk set out, which happens in a week. I'm getting psyched for some serious picking!

I'm with Lorraine on that "lawn repair" being old cat litter. The "chandelier" appears to be from the 1970's, maybe early 1980's. Those light metal shelves, like you picked up, sell very well in my booth at the antiques mall. I buy them when ever possible and they seldom stay in the booth for more than 3-4 days. I had one once that had 6 shelves... it sold in just a couple hours. You mentioned that it was a little bent. if you can straighten it out easily, I'd try taking that up to the flea market. Otherwise, yeah, scrap it. Stay warm, spring can't be here soon enough for me.

Hey Taco Stacks, great video and finds. That light is missing the three light shades, and also would have had glass chimneys. It is from the late 60's to the early 70's. It is pretty and collectable. I would start at $10.00 and go down to $7.00 but not much lower. Very pretty lamp. I am not sure I would call it a chandelier, but just a lamp. As always great video. Thank you for being you.

I garbage picked for the first time this week. Very hard to do here as, it's illegal (and very much enforced), and we have cans that don't allow for just putting stuff out. However, somebody in my neighborhood had a 4 yard dumpster and had it filled to the top. I was out for a walk and noticed a set of Lynx golf clubs in an older looking leather golf bag. Also got a bunch of unopened flood lights.

Great haul. The light fixture appears to be from the 1960's or 1970's and is in the blue and white Delft design, which was popular back in the day. Incomplete, it's probably worth $15.00 to $20.00. The KMart socket set from Japan would be worth more than current sets made in China. TFS.

Was sick with the flu but feeling a whole lot better & back at work. I have been watching but making my rounds to add the "likes" & comments. Not sure if those make a difference but it's the least thing I could do as a loyal fan. ;-) Damn that was a nice work bench I could use but have zero room for it. The chandelier seems like it from around the early 80's. Anyway, onto the next...
