I told a friend once that I was content. She looked at me as if I was mad. I explained that I have Gods peace within even if on the outside life appears in turmoil. I am content in God. Love your channel Blessings from New Zealand

Wonderful presentations here. Well done on keeping silent Matt to let these nuns speak so much and so well. No offence to Matt :)

Not to get too woowoo, but I like the idea of the profound Christian "future" that dwells in the present. This is amplified/reflected/revealed in the Eucharistic bread as coming to us from a future ultimate wedding feast.

No Matt, especially we Australians need to shave off the rough bits. We need to do this to be more like Christ, to try to be as close to a saint as possible. We should never accept our flaws.

It was pointed out to me that hoping X will get better once Y happens is bargaining, i.e. grieving.

Yes, the holy is here, but at the same time, as the word says, it is set apart. The trick is to figure how both notions are true at the same time, and place too.

Love the idea of acquiring interior peace and the effect that has on others around us and their salvation it’s an important battleground to be aware of. So easy to blame our external circumstances and waste our energy avoiding the real problem inside.

If I could just empty me of myself and fill myself with Jesus. I would know what He wants of me. My heart would be full.

It's great to see young women devoting themselves to God, instead of the hedonistic lifestyle that so many choose, these days
