Nicely done Scott! You are obviously quite skilled with the spray guns. Notifications seem to work now with 2 in one day.

Thanks Steve! Its something that I've learned over the last 25+ years of being in the cabinetmaking and wood finishing trade. It took me a little while to get here. Yes, the notifications suck! I hardly ever get a notification of a comment posted, so it I don't check frequently, they tend to pile up.

Your doors are great quality! When pricing a job with shaker doors like this one, do you charge per sq inch or per door?

Thank you! I don't typically just build doors, it's 99% of the time custom cabinetry. For the cabinetry, it's all estimated expenses (known raw materials cost, + 10-15 mark up + % of operating cost, I take that number and double it, that's typically a starting point for selling.

Nice work Scott! Did you ever get a chance to compare the AAA guns wagner vs Iwata? I love how you value good atomization at low (overspray) pressure! Thanks

Thank you! I have had a little been able to a little bit, but it wasn't in my shop. From what I can tell the Anest Iwata is comparable to the Wagner. It can also use a Kremlin style tip. I don't know if the Kremlin Airmix tips actually fit, but I do know the aftermarket ones fit.

Scott, any reason you switched from your Kremlin gun for the vinyl sealer to the Wagner for the precat lacquer? And as well, what's the status on your spray booth upgrade now? I caught your recent videos about the exhaust fan and such individual pieces, but I don't recall seeing a tour of the new setup. Thanks, as always for sharing your knowledge with us!
