Po Uta is suprisingly expressive. I like the juxtaposition between your voice and Po Uta's kind of inner child voice. and your vocal range matches reminds me of New Order, which this would be a freshening of.

Excellent song and workflow. Have you looked into the new Vocalo plugin? I’m just exploring this as a way to get my voice directly into Vocaloid, expensive but fun…

I’ve used vocalo a few times, is that what you mean? It’s pretty cool, I still haven’t perfected it though.

@@lawrydenyer yes, it seems hit and miss, but with slow simple words, it picks it up and gives a good result for harmonies etc…

how are you controlling vocaloid playback by pressing play in the daw? thank you!
@lawrydenyer
9 ай бұрын
Correct! When you open it via a daw it plays back just like a normal plug in would, when you hit play it triggers it.

This is really cool. Do you think its harder to use vocaloid than something like Vocs AI?
@lawrydenyer
4 ай бұрын
Honestly I’ve never tried Vocs AI. But by the name I would imagine Vocaloid probably gives you more parameters you can use. But you do have to have at least some understanding of music to put the notes in. That being said Vocs AI is something I would have to look into!

Doesn't that software change ya voice to make it sound like you could sing? I only asked because I want to sing a chorus but I can't sing to save my life lol
@lawrydenyer

Most music making programs (DAWS) come with an autotune feature. But yes, with the newest Vocaloid you can actually use your voice and have it changed to AI. So you could easily make a chorus if you wanted to!

For vocaloid: Go to jobs and that’s how you export. Logic: CMND+B for “bounce” that’s the audio term for export

@@lawrydenyer There's only 2 options that are available for me. Lyric Input mode and convert phonemes to Match Language. The rest won't let me click. Might be cuz it's free. Idk if I want to pay $300 if the trial won't let me save to upload. I'm used to Vocaloid2 and TinyEditor Oliver came with LOL I missed a HUGE chunk of Editor generations.
