Thats the plan! Once the body work is all done, im going to be converting her to 4x4 😎 the axles you saw were a 14 bolt rear and a 10 bolt front. Should be a pretty fun project 🤘

Very happy to see you again. All one color does a lot to make one feel that they’ve made progress. In my opinion you’re still one of the best channels on KZitem. Keep making videos and we’ll keep watching. Oh, and you’ve got some pretty nice stuff in your online store at chuckscustomshop.com - I found plenty of goodies I just had to have and ordered them up. Again, really glad to see you back.

Man.. I thought to myself “there’s no way I’d save that”. I realized with all those patches and all those stitched welds, it’s patched together like us broken humans.. what an incredible job you’ve done.

Not in my memory has a truck been risen from the dead as this one was to a truck again, thank god that it hadn't been rolled over on its top at some time as you still would of chosen this one because of where your thinking was at this / that time. Chuck, your a breath of air and no I don't think that this was what you had in mind for it at the time of salvage. Please keep them coming

You should try some non woven surface prep discs for a grinder. I use them every day and can’t imagine not having them for fab work. They do really well on mill scale and paint removal.

Too late now but.., whenever you put sheets of metal over top of other pieces of metal you should have used weld through primer at least. I feel like moisture or something is going to get in there and you are going to have rust problems all over again. Anyway love the content love the channel! Keep up the good work!

@@ChucksCustoms Well your patchwork looks good! I used to have a Classic Truck Parts Business called "Rico's Rods & Relics" and was a dealer for over 20 parts wholesalers! (until the Obama depression hit). There are so many body panels available for all of these trucks -- I was a dealer for LMC, Dynacorn, KeyParts, and many any others who sell great panels and parts! In your case,I give you tons of credit for creating and fabrication of the pieces you are welding in place! You appear to be a proficient welder -- something to your credit (as I never perfected the skills of welding -- although I wish I had) The other thing I lack is the skill to make any kind of videos! But at 73 years old I guess I am too old for that? LOL --- Keep up the great work -- Thanks for replies! Richard in KY
