@jacksonteller1337
Жыл бұрын
Considering the price of the PzH-2000 it is a short term saving. The PzH-2000 has a higher firing rate and more precision due to the high technology integration. This is why we went for it also two crews will end up costing more in training and salary than the purchase of several less vehicles that are more expensive. The only thing that Korean weapons have that no other weapons system has is they are willing to sell the entire technology to anyone and have local components added. That also tells you they aren't state of the art. But adaptable and that also adds cost usually they are 125% of the cost for an off the shelf version and higher if they contain an offset clause bringing them close to the price of the higher end German guns. That is another reason why we went with the German gun all competitors would have ended up at the same cost as the much more capable gun due to the requirements.

@@hammaoh5148 English, the PzH-2000 did more damage to the Russian army each deployment than all other tube artillery put together. They abused it by firing the six shot burst in ten seconds many times over in stead of going on to ten shots per minute sustained fire. It survived unlike many of the other systems only the wear and tear is much greater than anticipated so they are going to get a major overhaul in Poland and go back with many more spares. Along with the US, germany's R&D capabilities are still among the world's best. But decades of disarmament have weakened productivity. Germans believed in Russians with complacency, but finally Putin really bombed Kiev. Germany belatedly came to its senses and hurriedly opened to check their armory, but the state of it was not the Germany they used to be. No matter how good weapons they have, it's meaningless if they can't mass-produce it. Same for the self-defense, for the sale.
