Reminds me of the one my elementary school used - only they used a continual horn sound (IDK off the top of my head what the proper name is, mybad heh)

I’m not a huge expert in fire alarms but I think most pre 1995-96 panels do the slower code 3 as it was not a requirement until 1995 in Canada and 1996 in the U.S. someone correct me if I’m wrong Also the Simplex 4002 was manufactured until 1996 and the very latest 4002s do the more modern code 3 with the quicker pauses.
