This is a great video Victoria! I think you and Veronica chose a great location to film for this particular piece as the natural sunlight is very effective in enhancing its beauty. We love our vase!

I really appreciate how you create usable artwork. Throughout history, utilitarian items were made to be useful and also beautiful. Thanks for keeping this alive in the world!

Victoria- Karen and I were lucky enough to acquire one of these pieces (a compote) at your King Ferry home years ago. We love it, and love it even more now that we hear about how these are made. So beautiful! With love from upstate- Uncle Robert.

Oh, and I’m really glad you did that the, uncle Robert. Murano’s glassworks and quickly falling from sight. I live the compote. I think we made only a few reactants and compotes, and more vases. I wish we had cameras to make a movie of the process. Surely someone has! It is with such grace that they must work. Lovely to hear from you, Uncle!

Such detailed work. Extremely talented glass blowers! Another wonderful Richard & Victoria design. 😍 Absolutely beautiful. I was thinking the same as you, it would make a stunning candle holder.🤩

, Reba, and we have been burning it that way during dinner.we use a white (I think it’s considered an emergency candle. It’s narrow but nice sharp cut off bottom. It doesn’t drip at all and it never tips. I doin know why. We always have a white tablecloth on these hot summer evenings. Gosh, it would look so pretty on you all white mantel, eh? Cheers, Matey!

Yes, it definitely would😍 I’m waiting until all the construction/building is finished before I start purchasing beautiful things like that. But believe me, it is on my list! You could also use the battery operated candles that flickers like a real flame. Those would look gorgeous inside that gorgeous glass as well.
