Bit of a weird one, but it would be cool to see Jonathan react to the guns in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Between the hidden gun from AC2, Cesare's gun from Brotherhood, the 18th century guns in AC3, Black Flag, and Rogue, the Napoleonic era guns in Unity, and the revolvers from Syndicate, there's a number of really interesting things from a huge range of history that he could talk about. Edit: And I even forgot to mention the artillery cannons in the beginning of Brotherhood, all the cannons in 3, Black Flag, and Rogue, and the Greek Fire from Revelations! Not to mention the Da Vinci weapons from brotherhood, like the machine gun. There are so many really interesting options to talk about from that series.

The M14, as originally designed, didn't have a bolt quick release. The "button" in this video appears to me to be the stock bolt stop which is way too small and fiddly to actuate with a firm press let alone a quick slap. You have to install an aftermarket part if you want it to function as it is portrayed here (i.e. like an AR-style rifle). As an additional nerdy gripe magazine changes on a real-life M14 are a lot more "rock-and-lock" than is portrayed here. They could have just reused the AK animation and it would have been a lot more accurate.

Law enforcement typically does not care if their 'grenade launchers' are able to chamber lethal rounds, as typically they do not have access to lethal rounds. A misconception I've seen repeated recently and locally when HPD were showing off their 'Less-than-lethal' shotguns and the news said they were incapable of chambering lethal rounds. Spoiler Alert, they weren't modified to not take standard 12 gauge rounds, they just had their stocks and pumps painted bright orange. Only thing that keeps them from being loaded with buckshot or slugs instead of beanbag rounds is the officer themself.

The slap with the m14 is right and wrong at the same time. The bolt release they have in right now really only works as a bolt catch. It would be ideal to show examples of game specifics, immediately after being pointed out by our host. Even if we see some in-game video right before Jonathan describes something about it (such as @11:43), we still probably need to see that gameplay clip again. Most viewers, I'd wager, simply had not thought to pay much attention to the simulated progressive sonic modulation of each successive "fthoonk," as the tube mag was being replenished - until it was pointed out afterward. Rather than leaving the task of going back in the video to any sufficiently interested viewers, it's customary (and appreciated) to simply play the original clip, over again; or, even better, to provide a truncated or more specifically pointed bit of video, that plainly demonstrates the matter at hand (for example, a cleaner clip of reloading the _Payday 3_ 870, with clear audio of each cartridge's "fthoonk," from empty to full), one or more times, consecutively, or slowed down, if deemed necessary to help the viewer pick up on short-duration examples, or to help one isolate less immediately-discernible details.
