Pedro Pina:
Pedro Pina joined KZitem in August 2021 as the Head of KZitem for Europe, Middle East and Africa, in charge of the KZitem business, strategy, operations and content partnerships. Globally, KZitem reaches 2 billion monthly users.
Prior to joining KZitem, Pedro worked for Google in the Global Client Partner organisation overseeing a team spread around the world dedicated to lead Google’s deep engagement with Europe’s biggest giants in advertising like Unilever, L’Oreal, Nestlé, LVMH, VW or BMW among many others.
Pedro started his career at McCann Worldgroup, France Telecom, Yum, PepsiCo and P&G. Beyond his day job, Pedro leads for Google the LGBTQ+ chapter across the region and he’s also a member of the EMEA’s DEI Council.
In 2019, he was named one of the 10 most influential LGBTQ+ executives in the UK by the British LGBTQ+ awards. In the same year, he was named the world's top LGBT+ executive role model on the OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executive Role Models Global List.
Pedro is a Board Member of OutRight Action International, an Advisory Member for the Outvertising Council in the UK and a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Victoria & Albert Museum of Art.
Pedro holds an undergraduate of Science in Business Administration and Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an MBA from INSEAD.
Outside of work, being a Portuguese native, he loves spending time by the sea with his husband and his daughter.
Rahul Welde:
As an MBA grad, Rahul Welde celebrated joining Unilever in 1991. Since then, he has worked in a variety of roles, benefiting from diverse exposure and challenging assignments. This has enabled Rahul to develop a well-rounded perspective across business and operations, more recently with depth in marketing and media, particularly digital.
Since 2016, Rahul has been based in London at Unilever's global HQ, leading digital transformation for Unilever globally. The role covers digital strategy, execution, infrastructure and tools. Through a range of interventions across the triad of People, Process and Technology, Unilever is making their digital presence more compelling and more impactful.
Previously, Rahul spent 12 years in Media, initially in a country role and since 2008, as VP Media overseeing Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East, Turkey and Russia. Over the years, Rahul has worked with terrific teams and agency partners, breaking new ground in marketing communications and media. Several achievements to their credit include a number of big wins at Cannes and other international festivals.
In 2013, Rahul joined the Board of a media start-up, Ksubaka (PlayTMN), an In-store Interactive Gaming and Advertising company. He has also been playing an active role in industry bodies, including as the Chairman for the Mobile Marketing Association, Asia and as the Regional VP for the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA). Rahul presents at key industry events, and is a juror at several awards, leveraging the platforms to drive thought-leadership and learn from external developments. Recently, Rahul was privileged to be invited as a guest speaker at Harvard Business School.

Jon Ratcliffe:
Jon Ratcliffe has a long relationship with the London Business School, having guest lectured and organised lecture series at LBS since 2009 Jon is also the founder and CEO of Engage Video Group, a fast growth data-driven video technology company. EVG has reached billions of people with their videos over the last 5 years made for companies like Nestle, Unilever and Coca Cola. Jon has delivered keynote speeches on the main Debussy stage at the Cannes Lions multiple times focused on the power of social media video Jon is also a Global Agenda Council Member for the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM. Jon was previously Head of Advertising for Google and led KZitem sales in multiple markets around the world. Jon also worked at Google's head office in San Francisco in the GoogleX marketing team - this is Sergy Brin’s team where Jon was working on marketing of Google Glass . Until recently Jon Ratcliffe was also an advisor to the Nelson Mandela Center for Memory.
