Very quick job at splitting, very quick!! Although folks argue with me, if I get my wood stacked by June/early July it is dry by November/December. Lots of it faces south, but about half faces NW and most of time that is where the wind comes from.

@@BertsCustomCuts My humor is as dry as Chris’…. 🥴 It has more to do with those that say he should get pallet forks. Chris is reading my right though. His layout and process is so well refined there’s not much I’ll be doing differently in my own work flow. I do use a grapple, forks, dirt bucket and also a snow bucket. But that’s because a $1000 snow bucket was a better option at the moment when I bought my bobcat 773 than buying a conveyor. I’ve shown the video to Chris comparing a dirt and snow bucket size wise. So nothing more needs to be said about it.

I agree that wood ought to dry really well being in the full sun and breeze. If I remember correctly from science (30 something years ago ) the moisture will wick its way to the dryer area. My wife and I watch your channel every morning if we are home. We like seeing the cats, they are almost a necessity out in the country. They look and act exactly like our own cats.
