Welcome to Day 3 and 4 of our 32 day adventure in Newfoundland and the East Coast of Canada.
Join us on an exciting journey as we step into the heart of Newfoundland for the first time!
We arrived in Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland by ferry late in the evening and immediately headed to our first campground. We booked a one night stay at J.T. Cheeseman Provincial Park, but wish we had booked multiple nights. Unfortunately we had other places to be and spent one rainy evening in the park before making our way a little further into the island.
Second stop was a hidden trail called Starlite trail. Other than the rain that fell on us almost the entire hike, it was a gorgeous trail with some spectacular views. Make sure to include this trail on your trip as it is a great place to stretch your legs and is right off the highway.
After changing into some dry clothes we made a quick pit stop at a grocery store and then a brewery to try out some local brews. The final destination for today was the iconic Gros Morne National Park. Here we got settled in for a few nights stay.
Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a travel lover, or simply seeking inspiration, this vlog is packed with unforgettable moments that will transport you to the heart of Newfoundland.
