When checking for bleeding, check the part of the head that touches the ground. Video didn’t show that.

Can I correct something here? Usually you turn the casualty away from you in case they end up vomiting.... if they have something lodged in their throat, you turn them away from you so that the substance doesn't go all over you.

I thought the patients should be turned to their left side. I don’t have professional medical experience or knowledge, this is just something that I’ve heard over and over. Correct me if I’m wrong. Thank you

Or you can just turn their head to the side. I know because I did that today when my neighbor was found by his wife, in the bed, breathing but unresponsive.

We can open their airway with a simple head tilt but this does not prevent fluids (blood or saliva) from draining down or coming up (vomit or blood) and entering the airway. you did a good job. Just remember Without airway management equipment or techniques unconscious casualties will die on their back.
