Where are you at that 14% beans are “very dry”? 14% will get you docked at every elevator I’ve ever done business at. I’ve put 14% in a bin before but I ran air for weeks on them until they tested in the 12’s consistently. Keep up the good work.

If I could I would harvest every acre at 13-14% because you get the least loss, and a great test weight. But for storage like you said, 12% is probably the best. Thanks for the support!

Hello young farmer,I noticed the bracing on your unloading auger. I never seen that on a 7720 before, did you or a previous owner add those on and why? I have a 6620 and don't need them.

The auger went out when we were doing headlands and snapped the casing, we didn’t have time to fix it before bean harvest. We have the straps to hold it in place.

@Vantinefarms930 OK, a quick fix that's good. So how did it snap? Did you hit something, or was it just hanging out and gave up the fight? I saw someone else combing with the auger always out,not what I do.

The lever got nudged and it hit a tree. Luckily no damage to the auger. But we have to take the auger off to fix the casting. I don’t like to have it out when combining it’s just another thing to watch.
