They can't, best they can do is retro styling. The gub'mint would never allow it. Safety has been upgraded a lot since then. What he doesn't say about that car is that compared to a modern honda, it's a death trap.

@@strongwoman2668 The crumple zones in modern cars are bigger and better. So when it wrecks, you have more cushion to fold up instead of your body. Also we have side airbags now which is a big dead cause getting hit in the side used to kill a lot more people. So you could bring the old design back, if you were able to somehow miniaturize the safety.

69 miles 40 yrs old car is no good. Every piece of rubber is dry rotted. Cylinder was surface rusted rings probably siezed to pistons. To many miles as bad as to few. Need enough to heat cycle fluids weekly. This engine will smoke spin rod bearings have valve and trans issues. Every piece of rubber in suspension will need replacing and in many cases the parts attached to them if they cannot be pressed out and done alone. If auto trans forget it. Brother bough old caprice with low low miles that old lady put in storage for 10 yrs. He wanted engine, ended up rebuilding it fast as a sitting in engine is very bad for it.
