Darth Maal it's not evil. It's to prove a point. I don't even give a shit about sports or the Olympics. It's just annoying that women can have all of their women's stuff and then call us assholes and try to get into male stuff. And the feminazis won't ever stop pushing. They could keeping men as slaves and still say they're being opposed or justify it. Then a dude puts on a dress, makeup, and says he's a girl. I'm supposed to just say ok, and want to bang her. Or all these idiots with their pronouns. Everyone is supposed to be equal but everyone's chosen sides and collectively blamed the white men for every atrocity in history up to present day.

"She didn't have a good day." I don't follow that statement? you cannot kick a ball 19 yards and call it a bad day. That is simply the level she is at. If she entered the NFL, she'd either die in her first match or cause problems for the men, as I am sure they'd have an issue with straight-up murdering someone during a game. I respect that she tried, but she failed, and failure shouldn't be rewarded, only acknowledged so that you know how to improve.

Right? I can’t imagine an NFL kicker ever kicking two times in a row THAT badly. You’re going to tell me Greg Zurlein, even on his worst day, can’t kick the ball more than 13 yards? Especially in an arena where you’re specifically there to showcase your talent. Reminds me of the Vanderbilt girl they let be the placekicker. Everyone was all hyped up and shouting and excited… til she actually kicked the ball. It was hugely embarrassing.

They take all kicks and find the average. The second part of your question is based on weather or just an awful kick.
@0-Elias-0

Well, I think something's wrong here. NFL Kickoffs travel more than 70 yards on average. This video showed her performing an NFL kickoff. NFL Fieldgoals, however, are likely to fall in the 41.8 yard average that ABC News reported. The problem with ABC comparing her kick to an average fieldgoal is that fieldgoal attempts are a function of position, score, time, wind, and many other factors (ie, they're not a reliable measure of leg strength). I think that ABC News needs to do a little more homework on the subjects that they cover.

If you think about it, kickers could kick up to 70 or 80 yard field goals with not the place holder, but the actual ball holder that they use for kickoffs.
@jacobwalter3927

Jeremy Borman and they can't they have to have the ball low and long because of the offensive line protecting them. If there was no offensive line in the front like a free kick then yes they could but with the offensive line they have to get it high enough to go over the offensive lines heads but still travel far enough to reach the goal post.

Mike Marek, I said, this generation is so ego stroked. That means that another generation stroked their ego when they were growing up giving them a false sense of reality. Then I said, if "WE" keep this up (not if "THEY" keep this up)...they are going to think they can fly. In both instances I put 100% of the responsibility/blame on the ones that stroked their ego and said it will only get worse if "WE" keep stroking their egos. The fact that you couldn't comprehend either statement leads me to believe that we have also failed you in developing your critical thinking skills and reading comprehension; both of which are at horrendous levels. I can only hope these mellinnials learn from our mistakes in child -rearing and let their kids figure some ish out on their own, learn some hard lessons like, not everyone is a winner all the time and learn copping skills to deal with it other than killing people or taking their own life. This generation, like all generations, are a product of the generation before them. Hopefully you can learn from our mistakes and do better.

I think what Gage meant was sports are seperated by gender, to which is common place. I know that. There is a misunderstanding though because I feel like women can't compete at the same level as men in physical sports. To be honest, most sports. That's what my point was initially. It's not a matter of sexism, it's just due to 1000s of years of evolution that have seperated us due to what helps us survive as a species. Women are just as capable as men in practically all aspects of life but when it comes to physicality, no woman can compete against a man in his peak physical form. I think that's what my overarching point was. Sidenote: I feel a little sad for how that girl was treated on social media. She attempted something and is absolutely berated by what I can see as mostly other women. That's fucking toxic. Jesus. Good on her for giving it a crack. I think we can all agree on that.

Do you really think that the NFL scouts and the coaches took this serious? They knew that this was going to happen weeks before Roger Goodell cook this up to please female fans. Not only do you have to kick a 30, 40, 50 yard field goal with a 90% accuracy she has to put that kickoff in the back of the end zone plus she has to kick left, right middle ... Then show the coaches she can push, pull, tackle or just take a hit from the second line on a kickoff return team. There's a reason you put 2nd and 3rd team outside LB's Full Back's and RB's on the 2nd line. She would actually die if somebody decleated her... So you guys don't worry about a female player ever playing in the NFL.. It will never happen. the liability and the exposure would be devastating to the NFL if a poor little 135 pound chick got lit up and died from a blow from a man doing his job...

This is not a matter of societal development but one of biology. If women were just as physically strong as men on average, they'd compete directly against them in every sport. She can probably kick that ball better than I could (if she doesn't bungle her shot the way she did here), but when a trained professional female football player goes up against a trained professional male football player the female is going to perform worse pretty much every time. This has nothing to with having equal rights. It may not be fair, but that's the way it is with a sexually dimorphic species like humans. 10 years of training won't make up for 2 million years of evolution.

Really? You don’t understand? Do you live in a complete vacuum or cultural black hole? The reason male athletes don’t shoot for the female pro sports is because the male sports are the standard and hence are more lucrative. If you’re a pro baseball player trying to hang on in the minors for one shot at the big leagues, there’s nothing to be gained by joining a women's team. You probably still make more as a minor leaguer despite the meager pay, and you’re playing in front of scouts and against players of similar caliber. That wouldn’t happen by going to a women’s league. Same goes for the other major sports. Also, on a cultural level, the reason the women’s pro leagues were formed is because of trying to fill an unfulfilled need. Women like sports. There are no pro options. So the league’s average sprung up recently.
@brandylucero638

what the And? The only possible positions a woman has a chance of making it is at kicker. Professional women soccer players can kick a ball pretty far. The woman in the vid is literally an average woman they plucked at an event. To say that they have no chance is illogical

I don't understand these women saying, "I'm so disappointed in Lauren Silberman", if you think it's so bad, instead of being one of those people who sits back being disappointed in other people just because you're too much of a weakling to do it, actually be brave like her and actually try and make the pros. All the power to Lauren and all the power to the women who want to make a change; us men like me are rooting for you to make it big

Monty Chambliss Why should a women who has never played football and the only thing teams knew about her was she made a 20 yard FG at a indoor fan event get to take the spot over a guy who's been kicking for years and is much more talented? People should be disappointed in her she showed up to a nfl try out and her kick off went less than 20 fucking yards (which I'm guess most 8 year old can do better/same). Her practice was playing madden, she had no business on that field and took the spot of a guy/girl who deserves it much more than her. She also made a mockery of women playing men's football just like that women RB in the arena league.

neondeion12, you do realize I said this a week ago right, but I mean it just seems like an excuse to blame her because she had the courage to actually try out

Monty Chambliss What does saying something a week ago have to do with anything? Umm plenty of more talented women/men who have kicked in college and are a lot more talented then this girl have actively tried to get a try out in the NFL but they didn't get invitation (of course they changed that rule not long ago). This girl helped make a mockery of girl kickers and the first women kicker to try for the NFL should of been able to kick off more than 13-16 yards. edit: Also if more people pull the same crap this girl did then the NFL is going to get rid of that stupid rule allowing anyone to try out hurting other people who actually have talent.

I've said it before. If a woman wants her place besides men, she has to prove herself. My mom at her old job was finally accepted after being looked down on when she proved that she could work in a warehouse just as well as the men. A woman is never going to be accepted if she sits on a computer and complains on her blogs. I give mad props to this woman for at least trying, which is something most hardcore feminists wouldn't do.

Yeah an off day for an NFL guy is missing a 40 something yard FG by like a few inches depending on the guy
