Flying Swiss's brand new Bombardier CS100 on the first commercial flight from Paris to Zurich. The video was shot on 15 July 2016, just 15 days after delivery on the first commercial flight of this new airframe worldwide. Swiss is in the process of refreshing their Avro RJ100 fleet. HB-JBA is not only the first CS100 for an airline worldwide it's also the very first airplane from Bombardier for Swiss. HB-JBA is the first one of a total of 30 (15 CS100, 15 CS300). Swiss currently operates a fleet of 16 older and less fuel efficient AVRO RJ100. The new additions will start to replace the older British-Aerospace short-range fleet.
Thanks to innovation in cabin design, passengers can look forward to a significant increase in travel comfort. Further, in terms of human auditory sensitivity the new aircraft generates only half the noise level of its predecessor.
The new Bombardier CS100 will feature a total of 125 seats, spread across two cabins as follows:
16 business class seats
109 economy class seats
I'm very happy about this new beauty.
The video gives you an impression of the inflight experience of this brand new flagship.
