Baby number 2 should have been moved up in front of mama's face so she could clean it properly. 😊

Kid #2 needed its face cleared off as soon as momma didnt lick it off. It still has a possibility of drowning in the afterbirth

Thank you MarciaB for watching. Yes we are thankful for everything GOD has given us and try not to take anything for granted. We did not just jump into goats without doing some research first. This is the reason we chose the Kiko breed for their great motherablitly. We have chosen to use a more holistic approach to caring for our animals the way GOD created them. I think you meant breathing instead of "breading". We have to edit our videos to keep them within a certain timeframe. Honeybee did just fine taking care of her boys and if at anytime we felt that they were not breathing we would have assisted them. Thanks again for watching.

Use a towel to remove sack and fluids from face to prevent drowning or aspiration pneumonia. Then leave for mama to finish cleaning

Thanks for watching! We had everything ready if needed. Mom did a great job. This is the reason we raise Kikos for their great motherability.

Be on the lookout for goat lice. A lot of goat people have been fighting it this year so far

The problem is that we can hear you asking questions like “Does the mother cut the umbilical cord .?” And “Why is he breathing hard ?” So then there is less confidence in the fact that you are well equipped to deal with the kidding and all that needs to be done for the kids to keep them safe ? I’m not saying you don’t know but that coupled with the fact that you have chosen a more natural path and so don’t intervene unless absolutely necessary means people then start making negative comments .Maybe if you include a bit in your intro about your intention to be holistic and allow your animals to follow a more natural life you won’t get so misunderstood ? Just a suggestion as it seems unfair to you and your farm to get painted in the wrong light xx

I want to thank you for your comment. We appreciate all comments. Unfortunately, it is a comment like this one that leads to misunderstandings. If you will go back and revisit the video, I do not say "does the mother cut the umbilical cord." I say "Does she get the umbilical cord" referring to the mom cleaning it. Also, to the reference you make about "Why is he breathing hard?" As you revisit this video you will hear my dog Ranger breathing hard in the background and you will hear me ask my husband "Why is he breathing hard?" We realize the need for captions has been a must for the clarification on what is said in the video. Therefore, to give you credit you were correct. We are new to goats. We do have a very experienced support network that has helped us in every step of our journey. Yes, we do follow the holistic approach that is why we chose the Kiko breed for their excellent motherability. We don't believe that anything needs to be added to the title as you suggested. We also realize you have looked at the comments, and I assure you we have had some comments that were hard to hear, such as this one. Although we have only had 3 dislikes overall on this video out of 1.5k views. So thank you for your comment and suggestions.xx

@@AE-Family-Farm I’m sorry that you took this as a negative comment I was merely trying to clear up some misunderstandings and suggested adding the holistic part so that viewers better understood your approach at no point was I intending to be negative and was in fact trying to be supportive as I said I am just trying to say what it sounded like to the viewers if you are vlogging then isn’t that your audience and the people that you are trying to reach ? Please don’t be so defensive when people are trying to advise help and support you , not the way to get subscribers or a network of supporters on here tbh ! I have subscribed as I enjoyed your content and did indeed feel that you looked after the mum and kid very well love and good wishes xxx
