Would you ever do a natural nails tutorial with the rubber base?

? Do you mean the rubber base and gel polish only or with tips? I might be able to point you at the right video

I always wonder if nail extentions like these can work on someone who's a chronic nail biter 😅 I wish my nails could be this pretty

Defenetly try! I used to bite my nails all the time. If you are not used to having long nails, defenetly get them short and go from there. It will take some time to get used to them, but when your nail bed gets as long as it naturally was, definitely switch to a natural nail or keep getting acrylic to keep the habit there. best of luck!

Nail tech for nearly 2 decades. You can achieve natural beautiful nails with a certified Nail Technician. May take some time and following advice.

Can you do a full length in depth video of this? The shorts are too fast to follow and I can’t see and comprehend what you’re saying.

I use this method on clients and it has been A TON less time consuming than using the regular dual forms: - I use acrygel, hard gel, builder gel (depending on the clients nails, lifestyle and desired length) with a half dual form to add extension to the natural nail, which I place about halfway between the cuticle and free edge. - I flash cure about 10 seconds, squeeze the extension to correct C curve without putting unnatural pressure on the natural nail. - After a full cure I hand file the edges and blend the enhancement into the natural nail - After that you just treat the nails like you’re giving a structured manicure! Use the product of your choice, hard gel, the correct rubber base, BIAB etc to create the nail structure & apex… a lot of products don’t require finish filling besides crisping up the shape which cuts even more time… I’ve never had anyone with any lifting, breaking, etc of the enhancement or their natural nails underneath. I use the same method on my own nails and it’s been fantastic! I actually had two clients that couldn’t make it to me but refused to go to anyone else and both went almost two whole months without any lifting! I couldn’t believe it, especially because they both have XL nails… I’d love to see a video of you trying it out and your opinion on it! Hope it helps!!!

It’s definitely hard to grasp at first but once you do, it’s amazing. Especially the half cover dual forms.

What is a half cover dual form? I’ve never heard of this!
@ashlaraque4135
Ай бұрын
@@MandyRoy425 instead of being a full cover tick it’s a half cover tip. Similar shape to what you would glue onto a nail. It’s great for gel extensions because the shape is normally a lot more aesthetically pleasing than regular glue on tips.

@@ashlaraque4135 interesting. I can’t picture the concept in my head right now, but I’m going to look it up!

You should put your form at 1mm,or 1,5 mm far from the cuticle..will be much easy to clean..and if there will be any lil space..you can add just a bit more after you take the form off..

Can you clarify the part with the rubber base? Do you put a thin rubber base on, then cure? And then the dual form with the hard gel? You have to cure the rubber base right?
@1_of_2

I just read another comment that was referring to rubber base as hard gel- are you using rubber base in the dual forms and calling it hard gel?
@nailmartusa

Yes cure the rubber base!

The rubber base is different than hard gel I have videos explaining the difference. But basically a rubber base is soft gel and it’s flexible and a hard gel is hard (non soak off) and it’s not flexible

Question okay so I do my nails at home no professional background but been doing it long enuf ya know but not perfect and I’m sure I’m doing some things wrong lol anyways I do just gel on my nails sometimes builder before color anyways I see all these videos of some nail techs saying no to remove all the old product so u don’t risk going down to natural nail I was always taught remove all old because that’s what will make new product lift. I’m confused just like the makeup community there’s so many different people that say different things and ways to do it. Ty

So you put a rubber base polish before adding the form with the gel?
@androgyneitae_

Yes. The rubber base will help the hard gel/polygel on the dual form stick to your nail better.

She recently used the rubber base builder gel kit by Beetles. I purchased it and my nails are a medium too long length and it did amazing. I still need practice but they’re cruelty, free and one of the best sellers on Amazon.
