I'm glad to be watching your video posts, helps the nerves. i watched one of the early ones when you talked about just applying and how long the paperwork can take. omg.. so glad i watched. yes it is normal to take 4*months to get into the program, certain parts take forever!!! I'm hanging on waiting to see if I start May, slid back many times because something didn'[t get there or they couldn't track it, glad I have all my confirmations to hand back to them. so still waiting but i know once I start it will go fast. i look forward to it. Thanks for all the helpful insights.

Thank you for continuing to post your experience with WGU! It’s nice to see how you’re enjoying it and doing great in the program 🤗 Quick question, I have 8 classes I need to complete. The 4 non transfer classes and 4 prerequisites such as algebra, physiology, Pathophysiology and chemistry. Did you take these classes through community college? I am debating where to complete these or if WGU offers a way to complete.

I want to attend WGU pre-licensure BSN program. My biggest fear is I won’t be able to get hired after completing the program in a hospital to work as a nurse. I’ve been looking for past students who work as nurses and how their experience was landing a job as a new RN. I can’t find any. Do you have any insight on this? Congrats on all your hard work, I appreciate your videos! 🎉

Yes some people have to travel if a lab is not located in their state/city! In my case Houston has a lab so I have not personally travelled. But it would be only 2x throughout the entire program.
