There’s something about this that’s just amazing. I’m not a dedicated airliner sim guy but this one is just amazing. I would buy this one, even if the doors don’t have all the bolts 😂.

Its great so far but theres a couple things I noticed that I think need improvement/changes 1. Engine sounds. They are close but not precise (I work on the Max as a technician, I know the engine sounds pretty good inside and out) 2. There’s no wing flex on main & tail surfaces when the airplane is on parking brakes & full throttle..

It all looked fantastic. Does Lvl Ch not need to be selected in order to begin the descent? Wonder what this will look like in MSFS 24?

Change the altitude to ILS intercept and the aircraft will start down at top of descent automatically.

There are multiple ways to trigger descent. I'll cover them in a future video :)

Hey Jon. In regards to the specific bit about the trims being electrically driven they are not. It's a QoL feature that iFly have implemented and can be turned off in the EFB settings. Hope that helps!

I noticed you don't have a HUD. You can turn it on using the tablet. Navigate to panel style, other systems, enable HUD.

I’d obviously heard about this one, but had considered the presence of both 700 and 900 in my virtual hanger would negate the need for it in my case. Having seen this now, especially with the interior visuals and textures, which look pretty good, not so sure. May have to get it, even though I’ll probably fly it infrequently. And it sounds fab.

Because it uses the IFly Plugin ( which runs outside of MSFS ) it won't be coming to X Box.

You have definitely been flying the Airbuses for too long Jonathan. You made quite a few errors on the descent. The FMC was sending you alerts that drag was required to get on profile. You can go down OR slow down , but not both unless you help the airplane. Then when you got to 7000 ft the AP went into VNAV ALT which is the same as altitude hold. You simply cancel VNAV and then reselect it to continue your descent. This is all standard Boeing philosophy, but you are not watching the FMA to see what the AP is doing. The MAX 8 is a slippery aircraft , so you need to be well ahead of it. Much more work than flying a bus, but much more satisfying to do it properly. There's a lot to know on these 737's about IAN and RNP approaches, all covered in the manuals. Good video though, how not to fly a Boeing.....................................Incidentally, if you'd had failures enabled, you would have ruined your no1 engine with a hot start. You are supposed to let it motor to 25%N2 when the motoring text disappears then introduce the fuel. It has not got autostart like the B787. These engines take quite a bit longer to start than the ones fitted to the NG, and even longer if they are warm from a previous flight. The only thing that is fly by wire is the spoiler. Nothing else.
