The Zelzah does something I began looking for in a pedal ever since I bought a DeltaLab Super Time Line back in the 80s. The envelope-follower-controlled phase shifter. It takes the auto-wah to the next level; an effect that's much more rich and vocal than a flat tone pot wah.

I am a HUGE fan of cool phasers with the MXR Phase 90 and the EHX Small Stone being my faves. This thing sounds amazing and the combinations of the 2 sides and the possibility of going stereo, I think is a game changer. But the price is a problem. I am pretty sure I can get all the same sounds from a $75 Phase 90 and a $90 Boss Chorus Ensemble pedal.

The digitech hyperphase does stereo. I dunno, there's more expensive phasers around and people knocking the sound are morons. It's youtube, audio quality ain't the best and live no one cares. Good God I hate being a guitarist.

So you think you can get envelope filter sounds from Phase 90 and Boss Chorus Ensemble. I don’t think so.

Definitely want this but I’d have to unload a few things to bring the price down a bit.

Great demo, but for some reason I don’t really like pitch modulation. Love wah, trem and verb but changes in pitch seem wrong to me.

Mix knob was too high to get the envelope effect and you can easily get great chorus sounds if dialed in properly...this one was phoned in

It sounds very thin and brittle to me. Maybe it’s thicker with a different guitar / amp setup

I bet that riff sounds good using anything except phasing on the edge of breakup with Charlie Christians. And maybe a decent amp setup.

As much as I like the fact that they have a woman doing a review this is not a really good review. The way she's picking single notes doesn't really show the different sounds you can get for each setting. She finally started using full chords later in the video but then started using single notes again. Oh well. I gave her a thumbs up but the pedal is overpriced.
