I ran the dryer to calm my daughter down and driving in the car was another one. So nice you have the girls to help with the baby. She is absolutely gorgeous. Blessings 🙏🏼❤️

We used to put the baby in the car seat and then the car seat on top of the dryer and turn it on with some towels in there. That got them to sleep quickly. Then we’d leave them sleep in the car seat because it’s propped up at that angle you were just showing that Mariah favors. Put the car seat in her crib. We didn’t do that every night of course but on really bad fussy nights.

My daughter, born Feb 13th if this year has a bit of reflux as well. Besides the things you've already mentioned, I learned that I have to burp her way more frequently during her feedings. Another thing that helps her is carrying her in my moby wrap. It keeps her upright and hugs her in all the right places. If she's fussy when I put her in it, often times she'll let out a burp or two. Mariah is so sweet, she absolutions like a Moore 💖

My grandmother told me to put socks on my youngest son for colic. It helped and now we know that massaging babies feet help so many things. He had reflux and was lactose intolerant so that’s got a lot to do with it, I guess. He’s 32 now but a lot of old wives tales works.

We used colic calm and I had to pump off the first few ounces of milk because it was too forceful and he would swallow tons of air. I did that for his first 3-4 months and then it went away. (But that was my experience, and may not be for others.) Hang in there. You are doing great! She’s beautiful.

Ok I dont remember what I did to calm my babies down except for Chasity. She didn't like to be messed with. If you left her alone and didn't touch her she was happy. Her son is on the ASD and there are times he doesn't like to be messed with. So makes me wonder if she is. Yes we took Jacob to the chiropractor because he wasn't walking so the adjusted his hips and he started walking. Keep up with the Bible verses on your channel and letting your light shine

My first daughter had colic. I used to lay her across my lap on her stomach and gently bounce her. I don't know if that will work for Mariah since she has acid reflux. The kids really seem enamored with her!

Sweet Mariah, still looks like Sophia to me, and Sophia looks like Mike I love all the little smiles. I am sorry she is fussy, but thankful you have so many helpers to hold and rock her. Hopefully her reflux will improve quickly. In the NICU, we use sound machines, swaddlers and pacifiers to help them self soothe. We also have a Mamaroo, which is amazing. I would definitely try a swing of some type!!! Supervised tummy time with patting their bottom, also helps....bad part is, if they fall asleep you have to move them to their back to leave them, and that usually wakes them again. I would definitely talk to your pediatrician before using any medications. There are many options both prescription and over the counter, but most doctors here are moving away from these. Good Luck!

Savannah, it can be a rabbit hole, but doesn't have to be either. Colic & AR can be a sign of lip &/ tongue ties. Even if baby is nursing well, she may be "missing out" on fully draining and getting the most hind milk. (Not shaming, just saying it's the nature of the ties) I'm in Oklahoma & I also know a provider in Kansas (from when we had to go down the rabbit hole) You'll want to look for a group that refers you to a dentist they'll call them a 'preferred provider'. The best care we got for frenectomy's was chiro & fascia (bodywork) care Before & After. And the Kansas dentist even has a bodywork specialist to work with him during the procedure (it's not terrible) to release any muscles he thinks can hinder the release. Both my newborns were legit thrilled immediately after, cause they noticed they could nurse better, and they did immediately. It's less about 'fixing' and living with AR/colic. And more about setting up for less symptoms through the whole life. Ex: picky eating, toe walking, more coordination, less Orthodontic needs, because the palate has room to expand properly just by the tongue being pressed against the top of mouth, which can give adult teeth room. Headaches/migraines, speech patterns.

Oh and there's a very specific way to check for ties, it's a dead giveaway people aren't knowledgeable about it, if they don't do it. I'll find a video and comment the channel & title

My oldest son had colic real bad and the only thing that helped him was the swing and Elvis music lol. Only bad thing was, back then, the swings were the kind you had to wind up. So every time he would get to sleep and I would get to sleep, it would need winding again.
