Try lowering your tyre pressure. I would suggest 15 psi front and 12 psi rear. You can go lower if you have rim locks fitted. Lower pressure will help with traction at the rear, and make the front tyre more predictable especially in rocky areas. Hope that helps. 👍🏻

I was lazy and didnt air down after riding asphalt to get to the trail. Also I dont have rim locks and Im not 100% sure the rear tire isnt too hard of a compound for the terrain in my area.

Those hills are brutal. I’ve found they are more forgiving with speed. Also, tiring around and restarting from a flatter spot is a great way to get momentum and traction again.

New subscriber! Hope to get down there to ride next season. Found your channel off Some Guy Rides. Riding a 23 Himalayan. Some of your trails are probably beyond my skill level at my age (65). Lifting the Himi twice and I would have been done too!

Easy install. It looks good and it gets you a lot farther down the road between fill ups.
