You know, you're the first person to notice and comment about that. The whole first cut went to shit because of it. After remedial works, subsequent cuts were much better. Well spotted. Cheers

The attached link to my playlist, "Story of Moz" in Episode 9, pt3 there is a little more information about the portal. Quite different to coal mining. Thanks for watching. Cheer kzitem.info/door/PL94NUxLqZSPlmgvbZXRnGaOQeMtSvRUqs

Stupid question but you have a portal that comes out on to a road would have to do an immediate right or left turn, who was the open pit planning engineer for this pit?

Not a stupid question. The widest point on the open pit haul road was strategically located where the future portal was going to be located. This was the passing bay for the haul trucks. the haul trucks were CAT 777D's. So there was miles of room for underground haul trucks to enter and exit the UG decline. Yes they came out and did a left turn to go to the ROM pile. I'll send you a separate link to a playlist entitled "Story of Moz" check out episode 9 parts 2 and 3, you'll get a better understanding of the area and you'll see that there was miles of room. Cheers
