Nice reaction and analysis. Like Radiohead, many of these songs open up on multiple listens, and Skrting On The Surface has really done that for me. It's such ear candy. So many delicious bits going on.

Dudes and dudettes, this is a profoundly well relived reaction of a killer song/album. Thank you for showing amazing openness and definitely diabolical wtfs. Smooth you are!!!

I went into my first listen of this album with trepidation. After a couple more listens I'm hooked.

Really great reaction to a fantastic “debut”. I’m going to see them next week in Manchester and cannot wait!

19:20 The "Speech Bubbles" guitar line is similar to "Present Tense", but also reminds me of a Sting song: "Shape Of My Heart" Great album and very good analysis and reaction! 👍👍

Re: The Rip by Portishead -- there's an old video of Thom and Jonny covering that song. Good comparison

Have you guys listen to Black Midi? Coming out of the UK, they're one of the pioneers of a new wave of a kinda prog punk thing.

Of course! Can't speak for Rylee, but I am a huge fan of the new post-punk scene out of the UK right now. Black midi, Black country new road and Squid are some of the most promising new bands

Never been a big radiohead fan but i like this one! Sone tracks remind me of Yves Tumor a little (who if y'all aren't already aware of y'all should definitely do a reaction/review of! the atmosphere gave me a tamer Serpent Music vibe but Safe In The Hands Of Love is the best one to start with and my personal fav if you're interested) great video, probably wouldn't have checked this out if it wasn't for y'all, keep up the great work!

hey i wanted to recommend an album, you seem like a Thom Yorke fan so you are 100% going to enjoy IRA by iosonouncane, that album was so underrated but my god it's amazing also maybe check out my album heh, i was very inspired by Nigel Godrich's production i'd say but without budget lol worked on it for 5 years

Yoooo you’ve got to listen to Toxicity by System of a Down, released a week before 9/11, it’s one of the best albums early 00’s metal has to offer, rich in diversity n whatnot lol

can you guys react to dead magic by anna von hausswolf? it's very untouched in the 'reactorverse'.. and I absolutely adore it. Lovely reaction and review by the way.

Sure! It's one of my (Brighton's) favorite albums of 2018, but I don't believe Rylee has heard it yet.

Honestly maybe. At least, it's definitely top 5 as of now! Though other great albums from 2022 are (in my opinion) Heart Under by Just Mustard, Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain, Time Skiffs by Animal Collective, Once Twice Melody by Beach House and Mr Morale & The Big Steppers by Kendrick Lamar. It's been a great year for music already

@@albumsofayear1669 Great year, yes, but for interesting music composition ideas, only Radiohead-lite delivers on every beat.
