Well, not inside... nothing beautiful about marginalizing a group of people because of their sexuality.
@discdawg09
4 жыл бұрын
@@TheRealKSmith she doesn't hate people who live homosexual lifestyles. No Christ follower hates people who practice homosexuality. Just because Jesus, the Bible and the Church calls out homosexuality as a sin does NOT mean that those who are living a homosexual lifestyle are relegated to being hated. In fact, Jesus died because He loved sinners (all humans have sinned and fallen short) and He wanted to make a way for us humans to be able to be restored to right relationship with Himself (the only way to do that was for blood to be shed - we deserved death because we sin- so He paid our debt with His own blood). For all who wish to claim this undeserved, unearnable, gift - He says for us to receive His blood bought grace, pick up our cross (die to ourselves), follow Him, and we get to be in relationship with Him, and partner with Him in sharing His Good News! Those who follow Jesus are not Perfect, we still sin, but, we are in a process of being transformed - dying to ourselves, acknowledging when we screw up, and repenting (doing an about face from our sin, rather than indulging in it or being apathetic toward it). God does the heart-work and the washing us clean bit (we can't make ourselves clean or stop sinning without Him). But for any of this to happen, people have to know that sin is real, and what it is (including homosexuality). That doesn't mean that those who are living a homosexual lifestyle are any worse than any other human who is caught in any other sin - it is important to acknowledge that it is sin however. If you were playing with broken glass, it would be hateful and wrong for someone to tell you that playing with broken glass was perfectly acceptable and not harmful... it would be kind and loving for someone to acknowledge that playing with glass is harmful and dangerous... but it would be hateful if they gave you that warning and then called you an evil freak for playing with broken glass... likewise, acknowledging and proclaiming that homosexuality is a sin is not hateful but actually kind and loving. If someone then went on to say that those in a homosexual lifestyle were evil freaks, then it would be hateful. We need to know that we are sick and in need of healing if we are ever to turn to Jesus to meet that need (Only he can Restore us). The amazing thing is that Jesus died for us while we were still sinning! Because He loves us despite how broken we all are. I pray that you meet the man and enter into friendship with Him and recieve Him as your personal Lord and Savior! Regardless of you are or what you choose, you are loved - I just hope you accept that love while you can 🙂❤

This song is about Lacey’s spiritual revelation, she left the band after a few years of music, she’s been documented about her connection with God and she sees how the world is departing from what was and how it’s turning into something ugly, she felt that she had fulfilled her purpose in music and gave the keys to Kristen May, who is also a religious person, to keep the band going and since produced good music. Lacey decided to be a stay at home mom and raise a family. She’s the most humbled woman in the rock industry and frankly one of my all time favorite bands

Whether you believe in God or not, these bands feed the heart and soul as you just experienced with this song. I love music in general no matter what it is but I do see how some has a really negative effect on my mood. My 12 year old son listened to this song with me the other day knowing nothing about it and when it was over, he asked if that’s how I feel when I worship God. On the radio show LA Lloyd's Rock 30, lead singer Lacey Mosley said: "It's a song about meeting God. I remember looking at a bunch of people's Myspace when I first saw Myspace and the 'Who I'd Like To Meet' the #1 thing people picked was God. I think about that. I don't know how many times I've experienced something where I felt like God showed up and saved me or loved me for no reason sometimes. That's why I sing this song, I sing it to God. It's really intimate as well, you can think about it as a relationship between two people in love, too. I never think about it that way, but what's so cool about that is I think there's parallels everywhere - in everything in life. I think that that parallel is something that God wants to communicate to us, that he gives us relationships like that, an intimacy like that."

You nailed it man. It is about God, Flyleaf is considered a “Christian Rock” band. This is a personal worship song for them for sure. About her connection with God regardless what is happening in the world God is all around her. Love your videos keep it up
