I used long sticks with vice grips. One can tell I don’t think to hard…..bwahahahaha. Hey I’ll watch wiring all day. Because I learn by watching. The more I Watch the more I feed my 74 yr old brain. I’m doing the wiring on a motorcycle I’m building. This bike I wanted turn signals and handle bar starting, in my 20’s that was a couple hours work. Today it’s weeks because I can only work 2 hours a day…..😆🥸🙁😭🤣😂

Hello there cowboy here well so far I'm liking what you're doing with her clean simple basic lines in the spirit of what she was meant to be where the average person with just some basic tools could keep her going mile after mile although the radiator mounts need a little finessing maybe a couple of prices of rubber at the bottom and a rethink on the bracket itself just don't quite look right though I'm sure you'll come up with something that'll work anyway keep doing what you're doing and we'll keep watching remember always be safe healthy and happy God Bless 🤠

Sorry Lynn, No one ever failed my class when I taught Motorcycle Mechanics. I'm not bragging on myself, in fact I'm very humble, but basic 4 stroke, internal combustion engine theory only reflects on the person instructing the class. There were 2 types of students in my class, the ones that TRULY wanted to learn and earn a good living, and those who only cared about smoking a joint, break time. I don't know you, but I hope that you're in the business, earning a good living. T.S. RACING

Hey Brent, I'd take that bolt for the coil and thread a nut to it securing it to the firewall with a second nut holding the coil, as it looks like the coil will have to be removed to remove the valve cover, and you'll most likely seal that vent opening and it would make removing the coil by one person a world of suck to do
@HalfassKustoms

nah the vent cover is gonna go back on, also a feller can get that valve cover off with the coil in place ask my why I know that haha.

If you slip a length of tig wire into the brake bleeder tubes, they will hold their shape and stay in the fluid. Good trick with the bar clamp, finally a brake bleeding helper that listens! I doubt i will ever scratch wire another project. Will buy a headlight to taillight kit next time. Nice cable crimper. Beats that 10 lb princess auto dealie.. And it runs! Sounds good. Good progress! Hey Brent, The special tools I use for bleeding brakes are; a glass jar, and a piece of vacuum hose. Start with the left rear (farthest from M-cyl)...Set the jar on the floor with a little brake fluid in it. Stab the hose onto the bleeder nipple, and crack the bleeder a little bit. Then go pump the brakes. When the level comes up in the jar and the bubbles stop... Lather/rinse/repeat (on the other wheels) Not a lot of running back and forth.

a easier way is to run a hose from your bleeder to a jar with a little fluid in it , crack it open just enough to let fluid through , fill your reservoir then pump the pedal till no bubbles come out of hose in jar, repeat for each wheel , as you let off pedal every time it will suck fluid back into bleeder make sure jar and reservoir has fluid every time , i have done mine this way for years with no issue

Hi Brent, seeing a V8 at the right ignition point is like seeing a Swiss watch running, the engine doesn't even vibrate at idle, I miss the 70's and 80's when we saw a lot of Dodge Dart, Charger R/T, Ford Galaxie, Maverick ( his Comet) and even the Chevrolet Opala 6 cylinders (derived from the Opel Record), between 1974 and 1981 I worked as head of the warranty department of a Chrysler Dealership in the city where I live in the state of São Paulo - Brazil, at that time my dream of consumption was to have a 1978 Dodge Charger R/T (one of the most beautiful in Brazil) but unfortunately when the Brazilian Volkswagen took over Chrysler Corporation do Brasil under the pretext of taking advantage of the Dodge truck production line because from that year onwards it would start develop trucks using Chrysler tools, but really what it wanted in addition to adopting Chrysler truck technology was also to end production of the Dodge Polara, a small and medium-sized Chrysler that was getting in the way of its then-success. sales of the VW Passat and so in 1981 Chrysler closed its activities in Brazil leaving a lot of nostalgia for the originally American Muscle Cars so I'm in love with the Plymouth Cuda, Shelby Mustang, Camaro (all) Dodge Charger Daytona, Pontiac GTO, Plymouth Road Runner , AMC AMX Jevelin, Buick GSX finally I'm passionate about American cars and especially my favorite, Dodge Challenger and although I don't consider it a Muscle Car (some Brazilians say yes but I don't agree) my childhood dream is the Chevrollet Impala 1958, to to me this was the most beautiful car produced to date! Here's Brent a little bit of the history of a Brazil as passionate about cars as you are. Looking forward to seeing the hot painted!!! Congratulations on your masterpieces. Good luck to you here in Brazil.
