Looks like a downward trend. You started with a huge class A, staying in RV resorts and traditional campgrounds with amenities, then down-sized to a class B+ but still paid to camp with amenities and now you're transitioning to free camping in the sticks. That "working on the road" gig using the internet does not seem to be a good revenue source. Try work camping maybe? Plenty of full timers follow the sun and work at campgrounds and even others that work the 10- 13 weeks carnival and county / state fairs season and earn enough ahead to winter it in Quartzsite AZ.... The BLM (Bureau of Land Management)La Posa Long Term Visitor Area's West and North just south of Quartzsite cost $180 for a seven month season pass October to April. Both have free dump stations, fresh water fill and several garbage dumpsters. LaPosa North is just completing a new dump / fill / dumpster facility that will be open at October season kick-off that are included in the $180 day dispersed camping permit...

Hi! Thanks much for your thoughts & concerns! We found as we traveled in our Class A, we were limited in some the amazing places we could visit (it was huge!) and we were craving a “smaller” way of life. The more time we spent in the beautiful wilderness (hiking, adventuring, exploring) the less and less we wanted to stay at traditional campgrounds. Our family 100% chose to downsize and travel differently, not because of finances, but because of how we have changed as a family (Dustin’s full-time corporate job provides for our family expenses the same as it did in our Class A). It’s amazing how living on the road and focusing more on family and spending time outside changes you. It changed us in amazing ways and we wouldn’t go back to the way we traveled when we started. Yay for change and growth!
