This guy reminds me of Mark Wiens. He's always got a big smile on his face like Mark.

Enjoy your videos, thank you! All your catches were red rock. Those are 5" minimums, M/F. The 6.25 is dungeness (smaller in other areas)

Thank you! We realized that we were initially identifying them wrong. We were definitely excited to keep one but didn't realize that it could've been a keeper! Thanks for watching!

Ive done quite a bit of crabbing in my time and those type of traps are very hard to do well with. You have to pull them very fast because the doors sometimes will not shut back up and crabs can just get out while the trap is coming up. Make sure the doors swing free easy before you drop the pot. Also need way more bait especially in really large areas like that where crabs can be scattered....they wont come unless they can smell it and the more bait u have the better chance u have of getting some to your trap. Good luck.

Thank you so much for the tips! This trap was our first one and was the cheapest we found. Will definitely have to do some minor modifications or probably just go with a better one. Great catch on the bait. The area we were at does seem to have them all over. Thank you!

Need to use a lead line as your main line next time so it wont float up. If you dont, you could ruin some other boats engine since the line is floating. Also, everyone in puget sound uses chicken as bait, so keep that in mind. Fellow pinoy here, and I marinate my bait in something unique to our culture. Dont wanna post it public here. Guarantee catch keepers all the time.

We definitely need to work on our crabbing skills and thank you so much for telling us about the lead line. We plan on getting some next time we go on our raft for crabbing!

Nice video! Agree with the other comment to make sure you guys have your life vest next time you go out. And probably keep the cage longer. Btw, what motor are you using and what HP?

Thank you! Will definitely make sure to have our life vests on next time. We are using Mercury 2.5hp. Works well for our setup!

Better luck next time. I think you should leave crab trap there longer. Maybe over night

All of you should wear life vests just in case of an accident. Have fun but stay safe!😊
