The only idiots are the people reading that book. It's DISC model, a debunked, discredited personality type theory that is WORSE than Myers-Briggs. Thomas Erikson is unqualified, and before writing that book had never worked in those fields in any capacity, a "behaviourist" isn't a recognised profession or qualification, the same as "nutritionist". In psychology and sociology spaces, that book is laughed at as horseshit, written by a fraud. It's pseudoscience at best, and reductive debunked William Moulton Marston at worst. Again, the only idiots are people reading that book who think you can reduce all human beings to 4 colours. Tell me why the book doesn't cite a single study, evidence, peer reviewed research or scientific theory, yet claims to be telling us the science of how humans work?

My German immigrant (to the US) grandmother used to mix sparkling water with juice. My dad picked it up from her, and I picked it up from my dad. Then I was on a business trip in Germany. The office had a fridge full of juices and waters, plus a full professional espresso setup (self-service with a bit of a learning curve), it was marvelous. At one point I was working at my desk, with a bottle of juice and a bottle of sparkling water, mixing them in a glass and sipping on it. A coworker saw this and was really surprised, gleefully telling me how this was such a German thing I was doing. I had NO idea. 😂

Well fun medical fact for you ^°^: They did taste urine samples back in the awful days of medicine, to see if you had problems. The kidney is the first one to get confronted with problems because it's a complicated system relying on blood, blood pressure and molecule size. Diabetes makes your urine taste like apple juice. Sometimes your sweat too if it's reallllly bad. You also smell sweeter, again urine and sweat. I'm not sure but I think that's where the term diabetes mellitus comes from (tasting sweet).

@@esmaspaev8761 thanks for the meaning of diabetes mellitus ^°^ As for the apple taste: I am currently in a school for the medical field in my last year (so yes I should know what it means but we use just the terminology anyways so IDC), my teacher told me the fact that doctors tasted them and described it as apple like. Yet again that's thankfully just told about in med school and not done anymore. She hasn't tasted it herself. But she said she smelled the apple sweat once in her career, a patient whos sugar was so bad they went into coma. Edit: WebMD describes it as sweet, fruity or acetone smell In German sources they also say these things but put fruity (Apple) in it. WebMD: What Does Diabetic Urine Smell Like? One warning sign of diabetes or high blood sugar is urine that smells sweet or fruity. The sweetness comes from sugar in your urine and is a sign your body is trying to get rid of extra sugar in your blood. Some people say their pee smells like Cheerios, which might be a sweet smell that you should tell your doctor about.
@esmaspaev8761

@@sleeples7852That's funny, I learned about this in nursing school as well. Thanks for those insights. ^^ Now that you mentioned it, I remember that the smell was described to us as "acetone"-esque or like rotting fruit. I didn't know that translated to the taste as well. Crazy to think about how far medicine has come.

I‘ve always believed that Apfelschorle is the secret number one German signature drink. (I would give beer to the Czechs). …btw have you tried naturtrübe (cloudy) Apfelschorle? It‘s next level shit!

Apple soda is one of the best things, Walmart near me used to stock it so I'd get it occasional, carbonation really reinforces the tanginess of apples, its like super juicy.
