She doesn't seem to have a certain same style of music (what I love about her). Every song is a genre of itself. She expresses her feelings trough a lot of genres depending what suits the purpose of some emotions and lyrics. Whatever song you will choose from her and her brother Finneas (who produces her songs) you won't be disappointed. They are very wise for their years and have great ideas. If I'm not mistaken she has her own ideas about her music videos and has directed them (not all but recent ones). I have enjoyed your reaction very much because you speak honestly about how you percieve music and the video. Have a great day!

Her covers are really interesting. In 'The End of the World' on BBC1 she really packs an emotional punch for such a young person (maybe 16 at the time?). It is rather spectacular. She also covers Michael Jackson's 'Bad' . Finneas' musicality and creativity shine through on this performance. Edit:. I think that she could be a great jazz artist.

So Billie doesn't really have a specific sound. So many of her songs will sound completely different which is what's great imo. People who haven't heard much from her are too quick to box her in a specific genre. You should definitely check out more of her music and live performances. One of my personal favorite songs from her is "When the Party is Over" which i'd love to see you react too. Also like others have said she has done some really interesting covers as well.

Billie is a genre unto her own. Her songs range completely. Her first song was Ocean Eyes, her debut album When we all fall asleep where do we go - which is where Bad Guy came in and now her newest album Happier than Ever. She was 13 when she recorded Ocean Eyes. She also did the theme song for the newest Bond movie, No Time to Die. Definitely listen to her sing that live at the Brit Awards. Her brother, Finneas, produces all of her music and they write all the songs themselves. Finneas is a great singer in his own right too. Oh - also, she has 7 grammys and her brother has another 3. They're a pretty amazing pair of artists.

In an interview before the song released they asked where her inspiration for her album sound came from and she said it was very Frank Sinatra and Paris lounge singer in the 1920s era with her own unique twist on it and you just time traveled along with the rest of us with this song now I understand why it is her favorite song and video she has ever created she literally time traveled from Paris in the 1920s to Billie Eilish break out rock 2021 And yes that is Billie Eilish she wanted to go back to a lighter version of her natural hair she’s naturally blonde and this is just I’m more platinum version of her natural hair and the swimming through the water if you noticed the tears that drop onto the table and onto the floor while she’s on the phone she’s talked about it in an interview before that she cried so much over this relationship and how much it hurt her that she felt like she was drowning in her own tears and it was just flooding the world around her hence the ending of the video She always says that water for her is a very cleansing thing where she can just let loose let go of everything and then she feels incredible after

She was going for a sound from around the 20’s or somewhere around that time and it’s about her ex bf who was 22 when she was 16 and he treated her like shit and ignored her and never showed up for her.

Pretty sure this song is about her ex who was 22 while she was 16. Try not to abuse Your Power. Also. if you want to get more into her music, listen to her Ep: Don't Smile At Me, Her first album: When we all fall asleep, where do we go?, and ofc her newest album: Happier Than Ever. Although I love all of her music, my favorite songs from her are ilomilo, party favor, i love you, when the party's over, hostage, watch, lovely, everything i wanted, COPYCAT, idontwannabeyouanymore, my boy, bellyache, my strange addiction, wish you were gay, No Time To Die, Getting Older, I Didn't Change My Number, Halley’s Comet, and ofc Happier Than Ever. (Edit) You should watch some of her concerts and live performances (when the party's over, Howard Stern & No Time To Die, brit awards, etc)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh how I hope your next reaction is the VERTICAL VIDEO of "You Should See Me in a Crown." LOL!!! I LOVE watching reacts to that video. :D But depending on what you listen to of hers, you'll get TOTALLY different styles. She had some demons to work through, but she's definitely coming into her own. "When The Party's Over" is amazing. Then you could switch over to "Lost Cause", and you'll be like -- wait, what? *lol*

I disagree. Her story was about someone she loved, didn’t respect her..as she mentions made her scared, frustrated and sad. The mention of alcohol abuse she mentioned that she tried to tell him but he ignored her which makes her co-dependent trying to change him. All in all it is about abuse. For me the water was that she was drowning in her own soul. The screaming was the breakdown of emotions. He gave her a nervous breakdown. She’s done with the relationship but it made her insane. The distorted guitar captivated the explosion of mentAl anguish. That what I interpreted to be. Been there, done that.

Man..bad guy came out in like 2019. She was like 17. She’s grown some. She’ll be 20 in like 4 months. Her voice has always been this way. She’s not trying to emulate “old sound from the 50’s.” That’s her voice. Just like amy winehouse sounded like a soul singer from the 50’s. You have a lot to learn about Billie. This album she just dropped on July 30th? A 5 star review from NME says it “secured her spot as a generational great.” I’m 44 years old and I’m going to see her on tour in February.

Billie is in a genre herself . She is the Kurt Cobain of her generation. She is changing music like MJ did, like Kurt Cobain did, now it's Billie's turn. Every song is different so I place her in her own category. Billie is way up there, everyone else is breaking their necks looking up at her.
