This song is racist. It paints black people in a negative way.. imagine a white man made this song. It’s filth and we need to stop using the word, period.

The art and animation on the video represents the minstrel show, which was a form of racist depiction of black people in movies, media, product ads and posters during the 1800's and early/mid 1900's.

Love this reaction. You picked up everything he put down. 🤜🏾 If you gonna do more Hov, start with "Breathe Easy". This is by far his most overlooked track. But, IMO, it's one of his best where he flexes his lyrical prowess. Check it out. ✌🏾

Any real artist will use they platform to give game & try to affect change on some level. back in the 80s & 90s you could do party songs, street songs, etc but you had to have a couple conscious songs as well. There was almost always room to give a message.

My elders always disliked OJ. When Muhammed Ali was going through his legal troubles all of the prominent black athletes joined is side. Reporters asked OJ if he would support Ali like Jim Brown, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and the rest and he said that shit in front of cameras."I'm not black i'm OJ" he never had anything to do with us then came on Bet for black peoples support after he caught that case. Faux, house nigga....Yes gou understood just fine my man. Jaybo was a reference to THEM calling us sambo. The hook is the legend Nina Simone....Check out Public Enemy " You can't truss it". And Jay Z "Dead presidents"...

Jay Z - I can't get with that. Early track. This is blackface. Early in comedy they depicted black people as animals or dumb. Lol. Hiphop has brought so many cultures worldwide together. It's also shown people you can be independent and work for yourself.
